My name is Michael J. Wiedle and I am a member of The Delta Chi Fraternity at BGSU. Being a member of a fraternity is not just being apart of an organization that parties, it is much more than that. We pride ourselves on our members grades, community service hours, involvement on campus, and our philanthropy efforts. Delta Chi's national philanthropy is The V foundation. The V Foundation serves as a charitable organization dedicated to saving lives by helping to find a cure for cancer. The foundation seeks to make a difference by generating broad-based support for cancer research and by creating an urgent awareness among all Americans of the importance of the fight against cancer. Cancer is something that effects everyone at some time or another in their life. One in every Three women will develop a form of cancer in their life time and One in every Two men will develop a form of cancer within their life. Cancer is a disease that has effected me greatly. Two of my aunts have had Breast Cancer. I know how difficult it was for them to go through this. It is my dream that one day we can find a cure for this disease.

With your help we can find cure!!!

I do not expect you to be able to donate a million dollars to my cause (however, that would be nice) but every dollar counts. Every dollar is a dollar that could help fund the research that finds the cure to cancer. So what I am asking you to do is SPREAD THE WORD! Tell your friends about my page, tell your parents, tell you grandma, tell your dog if he has a bank account, tell everyone and together we can raise money for this great charity. My current goal is $400 dollars to be raised for the V foundation. That is reasonable and I hope to surpass that amount greatly. I have 629 friends on Facebook and if all of you donate 1 dollar to The V foundation that is $629 for cancer research. Even if you cannot donate, spread my message, all it takes is a little of your time.

Thank you all for the support and have a nice day!
